This is an exciting year for multicultural ministries in North America. After a successful 2014 Multicultural Summit in St. Louis, Missouri, under the leadership of Rev. Don Hanscom, Director of Multicultural Ministries, UPCI, the African wing (R.A.I.N.) of the Conference has announced its 2015 Leadership Conference. It will be held in Houston, Texas, from October 22-24, 2015. (R.A.I.N. is an acronym for Reaching African Immigrants in North America).

Leaders of African immigrant ministries and pastors who have a burden to evangelize the African immigrants next doors are invited to attend. There will be vital information on how to establish African immigrant ministries or Daughter Works and sustain them in the local African community.

The speakers and trainers will be equipped to provide effective tools for evangelism in the African community. Also, there will be information on strategies for enhancing collaborative relationship with other local churches.

Conference Theme: “Making a World of Difference: Building Bridges not Walls.”
